2004 Photography Contest WINNERS

The winners of the 2004 photo contest were announced at Wild Woods and Wild Waters - a special Land Trust event held in October at the Belleville Fish and Game Club. Naturalist Terry Sprague presented an educational slide show regarding the importance of maintaining our shorelines in a natural state, both for water quality and wildlife habitat . John and Janet Foster, noted nature photographers and filmmakers, presented their film " Keep It Wild and They Will Come ", showing the great variety of wildlife that live on and around their old farm near Tweed. All in attendance admired the display of the winning photos, judged by Land Trust volunteer, Don Craighead of Belleville, a skilled naturalist and photographer.

Congratulations to the winners and all who submitted their photos, and thanks to our prize donors, including Stirling Festival Theatre, Regent Theatre, Books By The Bay, Bloomfield Bicycles, and Winchester Arms. See the 2004 winners and runner-up photos below.
