2003 Photography Contest WINNERS

Grand Prize winning photo: "Graceful Landing" by John Monaghan of Carrying Place.

With over 200 entries from across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, the 2003 contest was a great success. From bullfrogs, turtles, foxes and birds, to panoramas of water and sky, the photographs all captured the unique and beautiful quality of our stunning natural environment in Hastings and Prince Edward.

Judging took place in June by a panel of three distinguished photographers and naturalists from the region - Don Graighead, Denice Wilkins and Frank O'Connor. Many thanks to our judges as their job was not easy. These judges donated their time and expertise and helped to make the first annual contest a success. Although we are displaying only 10 winners on this page - we felt that all photos submitted were winners!
